The Pittsburgh Steelers defense came to play in the team’s Week 16 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite being down multiple starters, and safety Eric Rowe and linebacker Myles Jack seeing significant reps in their first game of the season, the Steelers forced Jake Browning into three interceptions, had three sacks, and also limited the Bengals to just 59 yards on the ground. Former NFL general manager Doug Whaley went on the WPXI Black and Gold Pregame Show and gave credit to Pittsburgh’s defensive staff for their game plan against Browning and the Bengals.
