Remember last season in Training Camp when the “no-huddle” offense was the flavor of the month? It was all anyone could talk about because we knew Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger thrived in no-huddle or two-minute offense situations.
When asked about Roethlisberger in those spots fullback Will Johnson said, “That’s when Ben calls what he likes to see and what he thinks works best in the situation.” (quote courtesy ESPN)
Let’s pump the brakes on the no-huddle though. For as much time as the Steelers put into it during their time in Latrobe last August, it didn’t exactly become a staple of the Todd Haley offense.
