Ideally, Mike Tomlin would find another way to catch up with Dick LeBeau. Coaching against him, as he will Thursday night — yeah, that’s not great.
“As awesome as it will be to see Dick on a personal note, he’s not the type of guy you want to see in a headset on the other sideline,” Tomlin said at his weekly news conference on Monday.
LeBeau, according to sources, has been involved with some defenses of import during his 58-season career as an NFL player and coach. He’s been with the Titans as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach since 2015, when he stepped down as Tomlin’s coordinator to make way for Keith Butler.
