San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch said they expected WR Brandon Aiyuk to practice Wednesday. Now, they’ll have to figure out their plan since he isn’t.
Despite Shanahan and Lynch telling reporters prior to practice they expected Aiyuk to be with the team, Aiyuk reportedly isn’t on the field with the rest of the 49ers for the start of Wednesday’s session, per local reporter Matt Maiocco.
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is not at practice.

Holding in throughout the summer, Aiyuk said he had back and neck injuries preventing him for participating.
