Though the Dallas Cowboys seem desperate for a run game spark, veteran RB Dalvin Cook doesn’t appear to be their answer. Not this week. According to long-time reporter Ed Werder, Cook returned to practice after missing Wednesday’s session but isn’t expected to suit up Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cook was signed on Aug. 28th to the team’s practice squad where he remains today, still yet to appear in a game. Once of the NFL’s best runners, Cook led the league in rushing in 2020. Fast forward a couple years later and he’s trying to stay relevant in the league.
