The Pittsburgh Steelers signed free agent linebacker Mark Barron to a two-year contract this past week and some of the details associated with that deal can now being reported after it was filed with the NFLPA.
According to the NFL Network last week, Barron’s two-year contract totals out at $12 million and includes a $5.75 million signing bonus. Judging by the Steelers salary cap decrease Saturday morning of $3.305 million on the NFLPA site, and factoring in Barron’s roster displacement amount of $570,000, the linebacker’s 2019 salary cap charge is $3.
