The Pittsburgh Steelers offense was disappointing for the most part in their second preseason game. Although they had flashes of good play, they couldn’t string together enough consistency to look efficient. It’s still only the preseason, so there’s no need to panic too much, but it is frustrating when the starting offense continues to look disjointed. Connor Heyward seemed just as upset with the team’s overall performance.
In a video on Twitter from Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Heyward spoke about how the team underperformed.
“Can’t play down to our competition,” Heyward said.
