Roosevelt Nix, released by the Steelers last month, will be signing with the Colts on a one-year deal, according to ESPN.com.
Nix was released by the Steelers two days after the team agreed to terms with fullback Derek Watt on a three-year contract.
A Pro Bowl player in 2017, Nix missed all but three games in 2019 with a nagging knee injury. His signing with the Colts will become official once he passes a physical.
A former undrafted player out of Kent State, Nix was an all-conference nose tackle who transitioned to fullback in training camp in 2014.
