Colonials turn in strong performance in loss at No. 21 Dayton

Robert Morris went on the road and faced a tall task at No. 21 Dayton, and the Colonials put up a strong showing to make it a competitive game Saturday afternoon.

The Flyers outscored Robert Morris by nine in the first half, and the teams played an even second half as Dayton downed the Colonials, 60-51, in Dayton, Ohio.

The Colonials dropped to 2-2, with their other loss coming in the season opener at Ohio State. That game was not close -- the Buckeyes won, 91-53 -- but Robert Morris gave a much better effort against a quality Dayton team that was picked to win the Atlantic 10.
