CINCINNATI -- The heat index curiously hovered around 60 degrees in AFC North country the last few days. Sunday’s Bengals-Steelers game was played in T-shirt weather.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are wondering why that’s odd. It’s December, after all.
This is when the Steelers get hot, with nine straight wins in the month dating back to 2013.
December warmth is a state of mind, apparently.
“That’s just us,” Ben Roethlisberger said. “It’s that time of year ... We’ve got to get hot at the right time.”
What's the secret? It's not like the Steelers love the cold.
