Intradivisional personnel movement isn’t the most common thing in the world, but it does happen. Occasionally, you even have divisional rivals making trades. The Pittsburgh Steelers traded for Chris Wormley from the Baltimore Ravens last year, for example.
Other times, it’s player movement via free agency. The Steelers lost a couple of starters to divisional rivals this offseason. Cornerback Mike Hilton signed with the Cincinnati Bengals…and just pick-sixed Ben Roethlisberger. This week, they prepare to face their former two-time Pro Bowl left tackle, Alejandro Villanueva.
And for the first time, Wormley and Villanueva are on the opposite side.
