Chiefs looking to end long playoff drought at Arrowhead Stadium

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the Guinness Book of World Records. They set the record for loudest crowd noise in a sports venue in 2014 when a 142.2 decibels reading was registered at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs are not as prominent in the NFL playoff record book. In fact, the loudest stadium in the NFL hasn’t witnessed a playoff victory in more than 23 years.

Since the Chiefs won Super Bowl IV after the 1969 season they are 4-14 in playoff games. Last season, they snapped an eight-game playoff losing streak, the longest postseason losing streak in NFL history.
