The Pittsburgh Steelers lost their 2016 preseason opener to the Detroit Lions Friday night at Heinz Field by the score of 30-17 and after the game was over head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the injuries that took place during the contest.
Tomlin said that safety Ross Ventrone and quarterback Bruce Gradkowski both suffered hamstring injuries Friday night and that both would be further evaluated. Linebacker Anthony Chickillo suffered an ankle injury, according to Tomlin, and he will be further evaluated as well.
Tackle Brian Mihalik likely suffered an MCL sprain in one of his knees during the game, according to Tomlin.
