When Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was interviewed by former coach Bill Cowher prior to the team’s Week 2 game vs. the Denver Broncos, he talked about him staying with one franchise for the duration of his career.
In fact, he said he would retire before going somewhere else, citing he “bleeds black-and-gold”.
This got us thinking, and how the entire fan base around the globe does just that...bleeds black-and-gold. The Steelers’ global fan base is some of the most devout, loyal and rabid fans in all of sports, not just the NFL.
