Steelers receiver George Pickens is, once again, under the microscope.
After speaking out against the offensive play calling, and the way he is used, it appeared the Steelers made it a point to target the former second-round pick more, and in a downfield manner, as well.
Midway through the second quarter, however, quarterback Mitch Trubisky through a deep ball downfield to Pickens, who was in one-on-one coverage against Colts safety Nick Cross. Unfortunately for the Steelers, Cross got a better angle on the ball and intercepted the pass.
This didn’t sit well with former offensive lineman, and current CBS analyst, Chris Long, who spoke out against Pickens on That Other Pregame Show.
