Former NFL general manager Charley Casserly, however, believes Claypool is primed to make an instant impact as a rookie in other ways.
“Chase Claypool, wide receiver out of Notre Dame, now what they’re [the Steelers] getting with him in their eyes is a size, deep receiver,” Casserly said on the NFL Network a few days ago.
