While T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitpatrick, Devin Bush, and even others such as Bud Dupree have at times dominated the attention and the headlines for the Pittsburgh Steelers defense this season, the nucleus of that unit remains their longest-tenured member, and their captain, nine-year veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward.
Heyward is putting together yet another strong, potentially Pro Bowl-earning season, up to 43 tackles on the season already (his career-high is 59), including six tackles for loss. He has five and a half sacks, keeping him in the ballpark for that 8-10-sack range that he has been able to hit or surpass in the past two seasons.
