The NFL Network’s top 100 players for the 2020 season as voted on by the players themselves began their reveal on Sunday night. Counting down starting at 100, each show highlights 10 players. Sunday night saw three episodes revealing all the way down to number 71 ranked player. Within these rankings, The Steelers defensive captain Cameron Heyward came in on the list at number 84.
Needless to say, ranking Heyward so low after his second All-Pro season in three years is baffling to many who pay attention to the Steelers. Starting all 16 games in 2019, Heyward had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, six passes defensed, nine sacks, 23 quarterback hits, 11 tackles for loss, and 83 combined tackles.
