It’s been a rough season for rookie safety Gerod Holliman but at least it sounds like it is ending on a positive note for him.
Holliman, who was drafted this year by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round out of Louisville, was signed to the practice squad of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday.
While Holliman will only get in a few practices with the Buccaneers prior to the season ending on Sunday, the fact that he’s now on their practice squad this late in the season could result in him signing a Reserve/Futures contract in the coming weeks.
