Cody Wallace was fined and seems sincerely remorseful for his late hit on David Bruton Jr. late in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. But for some Broncos’ players, the punishment doesn’t fit the crime.
Cornerback Aqib Talib believes Wallace got off too easy, he told USA Today.
“(Wallace’s hit) definitely put somebody’s life in danger. I don’t know how that goes, though. I don’t know what determines who gets suspended for a game and who doesn’t. But I saw it live. It was definitely a dirty play.
