The Pittsburgh Steelers have retired RB Franco Harris’ #32 jersey, Team President Art Rooney II announced Tuesday. #32 is now just the third number to be officially retired by the team, joining Ernie Statuner’s #70 and Joe Greene’s #75.
Rooney said the jersey will officially be retired on Christmas Eve during the team’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders marking the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception.
