Benny Snell sidelined after knee surgery

It's not a good week for Benny Snell.

During the team's Monday Night Football win over the Dolphins, Snell suffered a knee injury that limited his snaps and landed him on the team's injury report early in the week. Now, according to Ian Rapoport, Snell underwent surgery to trim his meniscus.

Snell "should" miss two to three weeks following the procedure.

It's been an unfortunate turn for an otherwise blossoming rookie season for Snell. He posted his best game of the season in the team's Week 6 win over the Chargers in Carson, Calif.
