Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been fully cleared for a contact according to head coach Zac Taylor after a wrist injury ended his season in 2023, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Burrow’s season ended in Week 12 last season after suffering a torn ligament in his right wrist in a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. While Jake Browning was solid as his replacement, the Bengals went 9-8 and missed the postseason after back-to-back AFC Championship game appearances.
When healthy, Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks in football, although he has thrown 8 interceptions against the Steelers in his career.
