If there is one player in the NFL fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers love to hate, it is Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
No. 55 for Cincinnati has been a thorn in the Steelers’ side for years now, and it looks as if the Bengals captain could be missing some time to start the 2018 regular season.
This from ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Bengals’ LB Vontaze Burfict is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Drug policy, pending appeal, league sources tell ESPN. No appeal date yet.

Burfict could appeal the suspension, and the 4-game ban could be reduced, but when a player takes a substance on the performance enhancing banned list, it is usually pretty cut-and-dry.
