Ben Roethlisberger mulled retirement last offseason, but it appears he’s not planning to repeat that process to start this one.
The quarterback signaled he’ll return to the Steelers next year following the team’s 45-42 playoff loss against Jacksonville Sunday at Heinz Field.

Roethlisberger had an up-and-down day against the Jaguars. He threw a costly interception and lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown, but he also threw five touchdown passes, becoming the first quarterback to do so in a losing playoff effort.
