Myron Cope was the voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1970 to 2005. He’s been inducted into the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor, and he’s the only football broadcaster in the Radio Hall of Fame. He gave Steelers fans The Terrible Towel and sayings like “Yoi and Double Yoi!” Now, a new book is revealing every aspect of his legendary career. Author Dan Joseph has teamed up with Cope’s daughter Elizabeth for Behind the Yoi: The Life of Myron Cope, Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers Broadcaster.

Elizabeth gave Joseph access to Cope’s personal archives which included radio commentaries, television broadcasts, personal correspondence, and more.
