The Pittsburgh Steelers have been trimming their roster down over the last two days, and one cut in particular seems to signify that a position battle winner has been chosen.
The Steelers waived cornerback Thomas Graham Jr, all but declaring that undrafted rookie out of West Virginia Beanie Bishop won the battle to be the starting slot cornerback. That said, I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see Graham back with the team on the practice squad.

Bishop had a very good offseason program in OTAs and minicamp, and that translated into training camp and preseason.
