It’s no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers are excited about new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
Several players have spoke about enjoying the offense early on. Pat Freiermuth, in specific, has talked about how exciting the offense is.
Smith spoke to the media today after practice for the first day of mandatory minicamp and revealed where he was when he first got the call from Mike Tomlin after being fired by the Atlanta Falcons.
“Thankful I had people call right away and had interest,” Smith said. “I got far away. I promised my wife we’d get out of the country.
