Art Rooney II in favor of more international games, says Steelers will help Bryant during suspension

Steelers president Art Rooney II said today the team will help wide receiver Martavis Bryant get the help and rehabilitation he needs, to the extent they are allowed, during his one-year suspension from the NFL.

Rooney said the Steelers are “very disappointed” in Bryant, but added, “We hope he can deal with the situation to have the discipline necessary to be a player in the NFL."

The suspended year will not count against Bryant's contract status, Rooney said, meaning he will have two years remaining when he is reinstated by the league.
