Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is one of a several players who will be entering the final year of his current contract in 2016 and one would think that he will end up receiving an extension at some point prior to the regular season starting.
On Thursday, team president Art Rooney was asked about Bell possibly receiving an extension during the offseason and whether or not the fact he’s failed to finish two seasons in a row because of knee injuries will have any bearing on that decision whatsoever.
“Probably not,” Rooney told Bob Labriola on Steelers Nation Radio.
