Whether running or by air the first team offenses, second team offenses and tackling dummy offenses have all been abusing the Steelers D as if they were a CFL team.Against the Buffalo Bills, who handed us a 43-19 loss it was more like they were Pop Warner league.
Mike Tomlin learned the Tampa 2 as Defensive Back Coach under Tony Dungy. The success with it there led to his getting a Defensive Coordinator job at Minnesota where he had enough success with it in his one season with Vikings to garner interest from the Steelers and get the head coaching job.
