The New England Patriots began what has been the most dominant success in the NFL in the 21st century early-on, and it all started in Heinz Field.
There, on Jan, 27, 2002, they capped the first year of play in Heinz Field with a 24-17 upset of the Steelers in the AFC championship game. Three years later, the Patriots did it again, another victory in the AFC title game in the heart of Pittsburgh.
New England would go on to win two of their four Super Bowls after those games in Heinz Field.
Later, it would come out that those Patriots probably cheated to help win one or both of those AFC title games.
