The questions about Antonio Brown’s future aren’t going to stop until he signs a new contract — and both sides are to blame there, in their own ways — but give Brown credit: He’s saying all the right things.
Brown, in an interview with Bleacher Report, said twice that wants to be “a Steeler for life” and, again, apologized for the Facebook Live debacle.
That move, dumb as it was, and the AFC championship loss turned into a flashpoint for the Steelers, publicly and otherwise, to voice their issues with Brown. There’s ample evidence that they were actually mad, and if they were trying to get him to dial it back a little, it seems to have worked.
