The Saint John Sea Dogs are undoubtedly the underdogs in the Memorial Cup tournament.
The Memorial Cup is the annual championship tournament between the three major junior ice hockey leagues in Canada -- the OHL, WHL, and QMJHL. The four-team tournament is rounded out with an automatic bid to the team from the host city.
With this year's tournament held in Saint John, the Sea Dogs' inclusion in the tournament was a given. They had a strong finish to the end of the QMJHL's season, winning 26 of their last 28 games to finish with the third-best record in the QMJHL.
