Analyst says Steelers should use Justin Fields as read-option running back

There has been plenty of talk about how the Pittsburgh Steelers will utilize Justin Fields.

There were jokes from Jaylen Warren who said that special teams coach Danny Smith had wanted to use Fields on kickoffs, and then the Madden NFL 25 trailer showed Fields returning a kick.

Now, Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated says the Steelers should take advantage of Fields running ability in another way.

“Picture third-and-six from the opponent’s 45-yard line. Russell Wilson in the shotgun, Justin Fields lined up like a running back next to him, and then you can do zone-read action,” Orr said on The MMQB Podcast.
