Safety Will Allen will return to the starting lineup today against the Oakland Raiders after missing three weeks with an ankle injury and defensive end Stephon Tuitt will do the same after missing the past two with a knee injury.
Landry Jones will serve as Ben Roethlisberger’s backup after the Steelers deactivated quarterback Mike Vick, who is healthy after missing the past two games with a hamstring injury. The Steelers also deactivated cornerback Doran Grant, running back Isaiah Pead, linebacker Terence Garvin, offensive lineman Byron Stingily, tight end Matt Spaeth and defensive lineman L.T. Walton.
Rookie tight end Jesse James, of South Allegheny High School and Penn State, is active for a game for the first time this season, and recently acquired kick returner Jacoby Jones will make his Steelers debut, as well.
