After Rebuilding Rushing Attack, Ravens Retain, Promote Greg Roman To Assistant Head Coach

If there is one thing that can be said positively about the Baltimore Ravens’ offense this past season, it is that they were somehow able to turn the running game into a strength. The revelation of Alex Collins and his maturation over the course of the season had a lot to do with it.

But they brought in Greg Roman to essentially take over the running game, and the results cannot be denied. The Ravens barely averaged even 90 rushing yards per game combined over the course of the previous two seasons, but this year finished much improved, 11th in rushing yards per game in the league with 116 yards per game.
