As we all know, the Steelers 2020 schedule is currently in flux for the, I don’t know, 30th time. It feels that way at least.
As a person who’s got multiple friends who have lost their fathers to COVID (and whose own parents are in their 70s), I take this virus extremely seriously. As a college professor who teaches in-person classes this fall, I’m also aware of how easy it is to get annoyed with masks fogging up my glasses, and turn blasé about washing my hands two dozen times per day. And finally, as a Steelers fan, who’s quietly giddy about the prospect of my boys going 16-0, and who doesn’t want to see the season blown up with asterisks and cancellations, I’m rooting for this NFL season to finish in its entirety.
