The Good:
- Proven tackler
- Shows ability to handle blockers and attack the football when run plays stretch to the perimeter
- Great acceleration when coming downhill, looks as if he is shot out of a cannon
- Terrorizes offenses in the backfield
- Closes quickly on short routes
- Positional versatility, played as a nickel corner and in the box
- Kick return experience
The Bad:
- Questionable athleticism to survive as a true slot corner
- Tight hips, gets turned around in man to man coverage
- Prone to over pursuing when lined up in the box
- Lacks ball skills
- Not physical in contested ball opportunities
- Bites on double moves
- Not someone who can be counted on for keeping up with receivers downfield
- Instincts are average at best
- Still very raw (only 17 games played on defense)
