- A ton of experience as a starter in the SEC
- Good play strength to turn and wall off defenders
- Strong in one on one blocks
- Good anchor versus power rushers
- Solid awareness on stunts and twists
- Has a sneaky nasty streak

- Inconsistent hand placement on blocks
- Catches linebackers on the second level
- Lateral agility is adequate; not particularly mobile
- Scheme specific; not a fit for Zone running scheme
- Needs to improve footwork in Pass Pro to stay in front of defenders
