The Good:
- Impressive upper body strength which helps him take on blocks
- Does a good job at avoiding blockers with quick feet and lateral movement
- Shoots downhill quickly
- Navigates his way through junk very efficiently and with authority
- Is a high motor player
- Plays like a loose dog, attacks and locks on to his targets aggressively
- Big hitter who will set the tone on defense
- Does a good job sniffing out play direction by reading blockers
- Four-year starter
The Bad:
- Sometimes plays too aggressive
- Can be more focused on popping a blocker rather than attacking the ball
- Vulnerable to overshooting the play
- Not going to be your coverage linebacker
- Got some hip stiffness which limits his ability in coverage
- May be limited to just being a run stopper
