The Good

  • Diagnoses well on outside Zone and Gap/Power runs
  • Will attack gaps and take on blockers
  • Solid tackler wrapping and taking down runners
  • Good competitive toughness stepping up his play in critical situations
  • Shows awareness in Zone coverage understanding route combos and passing off receivers
  • Play some Man coverage in the short area on TE/RB
  • Good speed to zone blitz and acceleration to get to the QB quickly

The Bad

  • Hesitates on inside runs allowing OL to come out to him on 2nd level
  • Struggles to disengage from blocks
  • Doesn’t play with physicality except for an occasional moment
  • Range is adequate; doesn’t seem to play at full speed consistently
  • Gets flatfooted at the start of pass plays
  • Leaves a lot of space in Man coverage on deeper levels
  • Other than blitz doesn’t offer anything as a pass rusher
