The Good
- Diagnoses well on outside Zone and Gap/Power runs
- Will attack gaps and take on blockers
- Solid tackler wrapping and taking down runners
- Good competitive toughness stepping up his play in critical situations
- Shows awareness in Zone coverage understanding route combos and passing off receivers
- Play some Man coverage in the short area on TE/RB
- Good speed to zone blitz and acceleration to get to the QB quickly
The Bad
- Hesitates on inside runs allowing OL to come out to him on 2nd level
- Struggles to disengage from blocks
- Doesn’t play with physicality except for an occasional moment
- Range is adequate; doesn’t seem to play at full speed consistently
- Gets flatfooted at the start of pass plays
- Leaves a lot of space in Man coverage on deeper levels
- Other than blitz doesn’t offer anything as a pass rusher
