#5 Terry Beckner, Jr / IDL Missouri – 6’4” 296

The Good

  • Can be explosive at the snap
  • Shows a quick swim to get around IOL and into the backfield
  • Good burst when he finds a gap
  • Strong rip vs IOL
  • Punishing tackler accelerating through the ball carrier

The Bad

  • Underachiever; has talent but doesn’t use it
  • Pops up out of his stance at the snap exposing his chest and taking away his power
  • Hands are very inactive after initial placement
  • Will abort push/pass rush if he’s not seeing potential in making a play
  • Doesn’t have a pass rush plan
  • Low motor doesn’t make any effort on some plays and pursuit is generally poor unless chasing a QB out of the pocket

Bio

  • Career – 120 tackles, 73 solo, 32 TFL, 13.
