- Use his hands well to keep the blocker at an arm’s length
- Quickness to beat IOL when mugging the inside gaps
- Solid awareness in Zone drops to disrupt underneath routes

The Bad
- Slow to attack downhill, instead waiting for the blocker/runner to come to him
- Lacks play strength and technique to shed blockers
- No thump to his game
- Wrestle to the whistle tackler
- Doesn’t offer much as a pass rusher
- Limited use in pass defense
