So far in free agency, the Steelers have made no moves outside of re-signing their own players. Although they have had many visits and reported interest in outside talent, there have been no signings.
They have missed out on signing meaningful depth at corner, outside linebacker, and a No. 2 running back.
With all these swings and misses in free agency, the Steelers will have to turn to the draft to answer many of their most pressing needs. If they can repeat the success of last year’s draft, it would go a long way in solving most of the areas in bad need of improvement.
