With the 85th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the Cincinnati Bengals selected tight end Tyler Kroft out of Rutgers. Kroft is a 6’5”, 246 lb. large, athletic tight end.
For his Pro Day he ran a 4.75 40-yard dash, had a 34inch vertical jump and 10 foot broad jump. His strengths are obviously listed as his size and athleticism. He’s quick and able to get yards after catches. He’s also known for his blocking skills, which are ideal in a tight end.
His weaknesses include his mechanics and inconsistencies. He lets throws get on top of him and catches with his body.
