NFL Free Agency is officially here, and the next few days will feature several Pittsburgh Steelers rumors. The Steelers have made a few moves thus far, and they could still make another move or two. With that in mind, here are all of the interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Steelers.
Martavis Bryant Update
The Steelers might not have Martavis Bryant next season. He's facing a year-long suspension from the NFL as a result of a violation of the NFL substance abuse policy. Bryant hasn't tested positive, but rather has missed tests. That's why Bryant is facing a year-long suspension instead of the 10-game one that is next per NFL rules. His agent said that Bryant is clean, but that he will check into rehab for depression. Without Bryant, the Steelers have Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton as the starters. Darrius Heyward-Bey signed a three-year extension, in part because of the Bryant suspension and the Steelers also have former third round pick Sammie Coates on the roster.
Mike Wallace?
With the suspension of Bryant, former Steelers WR Mike Wallace became a popular name as a replacement. However, it seems unlikely the Steelers will bringing him back. Coates will likely take on a bigger role, and the Steelers have four WRs they feel comfortable with. There have been no credible reports that the Steelers are interested at Wallace. He'll likely sign elsewhere this offseason, with the Steelers using that cap space on other needs.
Steelers In On Eric Weddle?
This shouldn't be a major surprise, but the Steelers are one of the team interested in safety Eric Weddle.

The Steelers are in need of a safety to pair with Mike Mitchell. Weddle would be a strong fit, although he might need to take less than his market value to join Pittsburgh. The team has limited cap space.
Steelers Meeting With Tackles
The Steelers are in need of offensive tackle help, in the event Kelvin Beachum leaves. That's why they're meeting with a few possible options.

Harris and Hairston are coming off down seasons, although Harris' play picked up late. Both should be fairly cheap options for the Steelers.
