MRI revealed Ben Roethlisberger did not tear his ACL, but he sprained his MCL and now is expected to miss "probably 6 weeks," per source.

If true, it's a break for the Steelers. Losing Roethlisberger for the season would have been a huge loss.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could be without their star QB.
Ben Roethlisberger suffered an apparent knee injury against the St. Louis Rams, with his left knee bending inward on a sack. Here's the video of the play.
Roethlisberger was carted to the locker room and is officially done for the day.
With Big Ben out, Mike Vick takes over starting duties for the Steelers.
Roethlisberger will undergo an MRI and more will be known about his left knee when the results come in.
