The three day minicamp of the Pittsburg Steelers started last Tuesday and it served as an extension for the OTAs of the teams. The players were wearing shorts and without the pads but still remained highly productive.
According to Coach Mike Tomlin, it became a good day for the team. He is looking forward for all of the team to grow in a continuous pace as team members and as a whole. They did some situational football, some third downs and a couple of two minuters. For the rest of the week, Coach Tomlin said that they shall do same things as part of their preparation and make the most out of every opportunity that comes their way.
Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger did not practice due to his right knee injury getting cleaned up and hence he watched straight from the sidelines. Roethlisberger though is confident enough to be feeling find by the time of the training camp.
According to the popular quarterback, his knee is already in great shape. The little problem has been taken cared of even if it bothered him during the previous year. With his absence, Bruce Gradkowski is assigned to do more on the quarterback position.
