World Series: Historic chase continues for Cubs, Indians

CHICAGO — The World Series is going back to Cleveland.

One victory away from clinching their first championship in 68 years, the Indians had to keep champagne on ice after a 3-2 loss Sunday night to the Chicago Cubs in Game 5 of the World Series at Wrigley Field.

Silenced for much of the weekend, Wrigley — playing host to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1945 — roared back to life as Cubs ace Jon Lester outpitched Trevor Bauer, and closer Aroldis Chapman and his triple-digit fastball shut the door.

Chapman got the final eight outs to preserve a one-run lead.
